"With online information, these students were more likely to adjust their cost concerns downwards, and their own expected return from attending PSE upwards. Correspondingly, this group expressed less uncertainty and more subsequent intrest in completing a PSE degree. We also found some evidence that those treated were more likely to seek out additional information about the next steps in how to enroll in PSE and how to access financial aid" (Oreopoulos and Dunn, 2013)
The goal of Information Awareness Corner is to target students who are likely to have little information about financial aid and college costs and may have difficlty navigating the financial aid process (Bettinger, Long, and Oreopoulos, 2007).

Bettinge et al., (2007) stated that younger high school students who are not seniors (age 14-17): The intervention may help these students understand their options more clearly and perhaps choose to prepare for college admissions during their remaining high school years.
